Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® is an international service organization that was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 15, 1908. Our current International President is Danette Anthony Reed. The theme for Ms. Reed’s presidency is Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood.

The Epsilon Tau Omega Chapter was chartered in Greenville, South Carolina, on April 15, 1952. Our current administrative theme, P.E.A.R.L.S., represents Purpose, Engagement, Action, Resilience, Leadership, and Sisterhood, and is reflected in our guiding focus: Strengthening Our Bonds, Expanding Our Impact, and Reigniting Our Spark. With more than 200 members, Epsilon Tau Omega is comprised of dedicated women who serve the Greenville community with excellence. Our membership includes civil rights advocates, elected officials, physicians, attorneys, educators, administrators, nurses, and other community leaders who are committed to uplifting and empowering those we serve.
