Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is an international service organization founded on the campus of Howard University on January 15, 1908. Our current International President, Danette Anthony Reed, leads the sorority under the theme Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood.
The Epsilon Tau Omega Chapter was chartered in Greenville, South Carolina, on April 15, 1952. Our current administrative theme, P.E.A.R.L.S., represents Purpose, Engagement, Action, Resilience, Leadership, and Sisterhood, and is reflected in our guiding focus: Strengthening Our Bonds, Expanding Our Impact, and Reigniting Our Spark.
With more than 200 members, Epsilon Tau Omega is comprised of dedicated women who serve the Greenville community with excellence. Our membership includes civil rights advocates, elected officials, physicians, attorneys, educators, administrators, nurses, and other community leaders who are committed to uplifting and empowering those we serve.
For more than 70 years, our chapter has provided exemplary service to the Greenville community, and we remain steadfast in our promise to serve all mankind into perpetuity. Our commitment is demonstrated through the time, talent, and resources we invest in meaningful, sustainable service initiatives. We are proud of our legacy and grateful for the partners who help us advance our mission and achieve our goals.
Epsilon Tau Omega continues to strive for a positive and lasting impact in our community, serving with excellence as our standard and sustainable service as our mission.
